Escape the city for an adventure in your "backyard," Central Park! Join Ravenchase Adventures for the second ever Central Park chase. Experience new, exciting, and mind-numbing clues and puzzles. From a castle to a carousel, race against the clock and other teams to win fabulously tacky prizes and, of course, glory!

The Great Central Park Chase is like a combination of the Amazing Race, DaVinci Code, and National Treasure. Our staff personally greets each group at the start of the race, explains the rules of the game, and gives each team a handmade treasure map, clues on parchment scrolls and perhaps a cool gadget (like a black light to see clues written in invisible ink). Teams can travel in any direction they like around Central Park. All the answers and puzzle pieces along the course will lead them to a secret end location, where prizes are awarded to the top three teams.

Beginner/Intermediate Walking Chase

Between 1921 and 1973 various hospitals, asylums, mental health and correctional institutions were situated on the Island known now as Roosevelt Island. Welfare Penitentiary, where entertainer Mae West once served time, closed in 1935. Situated between the bigger island of Manhattan to its west and Queens to its east, Roosevelt Island is just the perfect place for a Ravenchase Adventure!

So come to Roosevelt Island armed with a handmade treasure map and a set of clues and try if you dare, to escape the island in Ravenchase style. Our staff personally greets each group at the start of the race, explains the rules of the game, and gives each team a map, clues on parchment scrolls. Teams may travel in any direction they like around the island solving the clues to lead them to a secret location off the island where prizes are awarded to the top three teams.
